Apparently, at this Christmas holiday people around my house keep talking about, it's tradition to put candy on graham crackers. Mommy and Daddy call it decorating gingerbread houses, but lets keep it real. All they did was stick some gingerbread together and set out a buffet of candy for me to eat.
I tried to act interested and do like my sister - spread some frosting on my house and plop a piece of candy on it. But why waste good candy. Candy belongs in your belly. So for every piece stuck to the house, I pulled it off, ate it and grabbed another piece of candy off the tray and ate that one too for good measure.
Daddy was a little disturbed by all this candy eating before bed, especially since I didn't eat my dinner, but it didn't stop me. I kept eating it and eventually he gave up and got into the Christmas spirit. That is the perk of having a big sis, mommy and daddy could only put off this decorating thing but so many nights because I didn't eat my dinner. Eventually, they had to let us decorate them because AB was driving them crazy about when we were going to decorate them. So I got a free candy ride, all thanks to big sis and I didn't have to eat a single veggy!
They did make go outside though after all the decorating. In fact, I ran a lap around the neighborhood at full speed. They said it must have been the sugar, but full speed ahead is the only gear I know these days.
They've since put my gingerbread house out of reach. They think I can't see it on top of the fridge, but I do. I'm just trying to figure out what I can climb on to get it. Stay tuned... The rest of that house is going in my belly.
